What awaits you/ Job Profile	Join our dynamic team at BMWTechWorks India where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Type Approval department for Powertrain homologation. Your main responsibility will be to enhance and transform vehicle history applications currently used for Type Approval test cars in the US and Asia markets. Working closely with international teams including BMWs Africa HUB you will help develop and implement innovative tooling solutions and data analysis methods to streamline homologation processes. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the APPROVE Program by replacing traditional Excel-based applications with a robust database solution enhanced with AI and machine learning algorithms driving efficiency and accuracy in vehicle type approval documentation. What should you bring along	Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams Passion for working with data tooling and evolving technologies like AI and machine learning Good communication skills to prepare and manage user stories in JIRA and translate technical requirement
Must have technical skill	Proficiency in Visual Basic for Excel Macro programming Experience with Visual Basic programming beyond Excel macros Competence in working with databases and tooling development Familiarity with JIRA for managing user stories and tasks
Good to have Technical skills	Knowledge or experience with AI technologies and machine learning concepts Understanding of homologation processes or automotive data analysis Experience with database migration or transformation projects Exposure to international automotive markets especially US and Asia
