Pay | : | HK$23725 to HK$30244 (HGPS Point 7 to 11) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Hospital Administrators to carry out Support Services functions / services as listed below:
Supervise and coordinate general supporting services including domestic portering transportation NEATS waste management security and car park management landscape and gardening management pest control management mortuary operation (including dead body transfer and claims) green management environmental hygiene linen and uniform exchange services catering etc.
Monitor staff discipline and performance and arrange staff orientation and training.
Handle emergencies workplace violence and other ad hoc incidents in the hospital.
Implement occupational safety and health programs.
Enforce the no-smoking policy and the hospital regulations.
Liaise with other department heads and service contractors in the day-to-day provision of services and to monitor service quality regularly.
Monitor and review performance of the outsourced service contractors.
Prepare duty roster and management reports.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Entry Requirements:
(a) 3 years satisfactory service in the HA or
(b) 2 years supervisory experience in hospitals hotels cleansing service facilities management or other related services/ industries.
Have shown the potential to lead and supervise staff.
Preferred Attributes/Exposure:
- Ability to read and write Chinese and English and speak fluent Cantonese.
- Good knowledge of computer applications e.g. MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
- Experience in staff supervision and management.
- Holder of valid driving license (Vehicle Classification Codes 1 2 & 4).
- Holder of valid security guard permit.
- Experience in domestic services / security service / fleet management / gardening / linen and laundry service.
- Good communication interpersonal and supervisory skills.
