Maintenance Operations & Equipment Reliability

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all plant equipment conditions and performance metrics on a continuous basis
  
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities across all facility equipment to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifespan
  
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment including generators (diesel and gas) pumps compressors trucks and all plant installations
  
• Execute modification installation repair and maintenance activities for air compressors pumps generators and piping systems
  
• Read and interpret mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints schematics and P&ID documentation
  

Preventative Maintenance & Process Optimization

• Develop implement and continuously improve the preventative maintenance program based on OEM recommendations and best practices
  
• Evaluate and optimize preventive maintenance job plans creating corresponding inspection schedules for maximum efficiency
  
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures and detailed job plans for equipment repair and maintenance
  
• Ensure systematic review and optimization of lubrication programs for all plant equipment
  
• Validate and update equipment specification files history sheets and routine maintenance logging systems
  

Team Leadership & Execution Management

• Supervise and provide guidance to the maintenance team including skilled and unskilled technicians
  
• Manage day-to-day maintenance execution while respecting KPIs through effective priority setting and team direction
  
• Lead all maintenance activities during operational shifts with hands-on technical expertise
  
• Foster a positive innovative work environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional development
  
• Interface with third-party contractors for execution of planned maintenance projects
  

Safety Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Take leadership in enforcing safety rules and guidelines through Visible Felt Leadership (VFL) practices
  
• Ensure all maintenance operations comply with health environmental and safety regulations
  
• Carry out equipment energy isolation procedures in accordance with safety protocols
  
• Monitor maintenance operations and repairs to ensure compliance with company quality standards
  
• Initiate work incident requests based on inspection results including comprehensive safety checks
  

Strategic Planning & Cost Management

• Track maintenance costs and ensure quality standards are consistently met within budgetary constraints
  
• Propose economical solutions to extend plant equipment life and reduce long-term maintenance expenses
  
• Participate in planning and organization of short-term and long-term plant stoppages
  
• Contribute to failure analysis and problem-solving recommending corrective actions and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs)
  
• Support development and execution of company policies related to equipment standardization tracking and efficient utilization
  

• Operational Impact: Youll directly influence the reliability and uptime of critical energy infrastructure ensuring continuous operations that power Nigerias economy
  
• Technical Leadership: Lead maintenance excellence initiatives that set industry standards for equipment reliability and operational efficiency
  
• Strategic Influence: Work closely with the GM Operations & Maintenance and COO shaping maintenance strategies and contributing to company-wide operational policies
  

• Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
  
• 5-10 years of hands-on maintenance experience with 3-5 years in supervisory roles within the Oil & Gas industry
  
• Proven leadership and people management skills especially in cross-location team supervision
  
• Good knowledge and familiarization with LPG and LPG equipment operations
  
  

Technical Expertise

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance for diesel and gas generators pumps compressors pneumatic and hydraulic systems valves and heavy/medium trucks
  
• Good troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex equipment failures
  
• Knowledge of spare parts vendors workshops and supply chain management
  
• Understanding of plant operations and equipment specifications
  

Management & Leadership Skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational processes and drive continuous improvement
  
• Ability to carry out maintenance activities independently and supervise technical teams effectively
  
• Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving capabilities
