We are seeking a technically and administratively competent individual for the position of Network Delivery Manager. You are results driven and an excellent team builder.
You will be leading a core group of technical professionals that are responsible for the management and support of the Network Project within CGI and client Data Centre environments. The Network Project manager is accountable for the delivery of related deployment of internal/external projects.
Managing a team of professionals assigned to Network Projects
Hiring new employees organizing work managing priorities resolving conflicts and managing human resources matters managing operating budgets.
Effective people and team management.
Planning and managing resources effectively (number profile management ratios payroll).
Maintain collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical (internal and external) stakeholders at all levels.
Fulfill customer and contractual obligations and requirements.
Meet utilization targets and streamline systems and procedures that are cost-effective and improve efficiency.
Complying with the Member Partnership Management Framework (recruitment integration career plan performance evaluation meetings pay equity satisfaction assessment).
Process optimization by demonstrating an appreciation of contractual needs business challenges and priorities.
Creation of training programs training champion users and provide continued support.
Identifying and coaching potential succession candidates.
Managing suppliers.
Monitoring service quality.
Managing operational activities and priorities.
Meeting delivery commitments (capacity performance availability deadlines).
Complying with the business units standards and procedures.
Implementing and monitoring projects (Dashboards).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience.
Bilingualism: English/French
Sound knowledge of ITIL standards and practices.
Cisco CCNA Certification or CCNP (Routing & Switching Security) would be an asset.
Advanced understanding of current Cisco Checkpoint Juniper F5 platforms.
10 years of IT experience.
Team management/Lead experience; Leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of service integration and delivery processes in mid-range system environments.
Advanced knowledge of technologies related to centralized infrastructures.
Awareness of major trends in the IT industry.
Solid understanding of switching and routing protocols: STP VTP EIGRP OSPF BGP MPLS etc and sound.
Network layer support and network related devices (switch router firewalletc.) are key skills sought.
Working knowledge with firewalls and security appliances: Cisco Checkpoint Juniper Fortinet etc. strong understanding of F5 and Citrix Netscaler Load Balancer platforms.
Demonstrated understanding of supporting Security Operations and Network Operations.
Familiar with cloud technologies (Amazon AWS/Azure etc.)
Past programming or scripting experience (powershell batch SQL vbscript jscript).
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of telephony and contact center technologies and protocols such as SIP IVR ACD CTI Call recording etc.
Strong vendor relationship and management skills highly desired.
