Job Summary
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to extract transform and load large datasets from various telecom systems;
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions;
- Create and maintain data models to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives;
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across all systems;
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved performance;
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and telecommunications.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field;
- 3 years of experience in data engineering preferably in the telecommunications industry;
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python SQL and Java;
- Strong experience with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark;
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data modeling;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP;
- Relevant data engineering certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Data Analytics Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
