Description

The Clinical Manager is a licensed clinician responsible for overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery across assigned program sites where the Clinical Director is not physically located. This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards supporting clinical staff and fostering a therapeutic environment consistent with the organizations mission and addition to supervisory responsibilities the Clinical Manager will provide caseload coverage as needed to ensure continuity of care. This position serves as a key liaison between program staff the Clinical Director and other departments to ensure consistent implementation of clinical and operational standards across locations.


Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-Time/40 hours
  • Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (flexibility required occasional weekend coverage)
  • This position will be paid on a salary basis semimonthly exempt from overtime.
  • Overtime premium pay is not paid to exempt employees.


Tasks / Responsibilities (To include but not limited to):

Leadership & Oversight:

  • Provide day-to-day clinical oversight and support to assigned program sites in the absence of the Clinical Director.
  • Supervise and support clinical staff ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices documentation standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct regular supervision case reviews and performance evaluations for assigned staff.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to implement clinical initiatives policies and quality improvement measures.
  • Assist with on floor presence addressing clinical crises as they arise assuring client issues are addressed promptly fostering a safe environment
  • Ensure all treatment and program operations remain compliant with state licensing accreditation and internal policy standards.

Operational Accountability:

  • Oversee clinical functions across multiple facilities to ensure consistent service delivery and continuity of care.
  • Partner with site leadership and administrative staff to maintain efficient scheduling client flow and staff coverage.
  • Support the Clinical Assistant at the Exeter site with guidance and oversight while maintaining focus on operational needs at other locations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to strategic planning related to program growth and quality outcomes.

Clinical Services:

  • Maintain an active caseload as determined by program needs.
  • Provide individual group and family therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Conduct assessments develop treatment plans and ensure timely completion of documentation in accordance with regulatory and agency standards.
  • Provide clinical coverage for staff absences or vacancies as needed to maintain continuity of services.


Communication & Collaboration:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clinical operations across assigned sites.
  • Foster positive relationships with staff clients families and external partners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Director to identify staffing needs training opportunities and process improvements.
Requirements

Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work or a related behavioral health field required
  • Active state licensure as one of the following: LMFT LMHC LICSW or LCDCS.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations related to substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities.
