PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 31800 - 36000 plus 5441 London Weighting depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


Were looking for a dynamic UK and EMEA Publicist to deliver creative high-impact publicity campaigns for our Brands & Licensing (B&L) portfolio including the beloved blue heeler Bluey sci-fi icon Doctor Who and more. From consumer products and partnerships to live events and spin-offs youll bring our IP to life through smart media engagement and compelling storytelling

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

  • Plan and deliver publicity campaigns across print broadcast online social and influencer channels
  • Draft press releases media packs Q&As and spokespeople briefings
  • Secure coverage across consumer lifestyle trade and broadcast outlets
  • Handle media enquiries and support reactive press office activity
  • Work with product licensing and marketing colleagues to translate assets into stories
  • Support interviews press days launches and media events
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships across relevant sectors
  • Monitor evaluate and report on coverage and campaign effectiveness


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Established experience in publicity/PR ideally within consumer entertainment or lifestyle sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to secure quality media coverage
  • Strong writing pitching and copy-editing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to build trusted relationships with journalists and stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills able to manage multiple campaigns to deadline
  • Creative eye for stories and confidence in presenting ideas



DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Experience working in licensing consumer products or entertainment IP
  • Familiarity with international media and trade press
  • Experience supporting events launches or talent engagement
  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools and PR reporting
