RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity reduce waste and ensure product quality.
- Lead and coordinate product relocation projects including planning risk assessment and execution.
- Develop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Maintenance Production) to ensure seamless integration of relocated products.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
- Contribute to FMEA and Control Plan development
- Train the operators for process and equipment-specific requirements.
- Support commissioning and validation of new or relocated equipment and processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in engineering (materials science mechanical).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive/aerospace industry.
- Experience with product relocation or technology transfer projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of metallurgical processes such as casting forging heat treatment or surface treatment is considered an advantage.
- Experience in continuous improvement of processes.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving project management and communication skills
- Fluent in Romanian and English languages additional German language knowledge is an advantage.
