Job Summary

I. General Summary

We are looking for a Regional Design Manager to lead the design and optimisation of club floor layouts across various markets. The role involves close collaboration with franchisees the internal design team and equipment suppliers to deliver layouts that enhance member experience meet brand standards and ensure operational efficiency.

II. Skills and Qualifications

Background in interior design architecture or a related field (degree preferred).
24 years of experience in layout or facility planning preferably in the fitness or gym industry.
Proficient in AutoCAD SketchUp or similar design tools.
Strong understanding of gym flow equipment placement and member experience.
Detail-oriented organised and able to manage multiple projects across markets.
Effective communicator skilled at coordinating with various stakeholders.

III. Roles and Responsibilities

Layout Coordination

Collaborate with franchisees to develop and refine floor layouts.
Ensure optimal member flow accessibility and safety.
Coordinate with suppliers to verify equipment specifications and delivery requirements.

Brand Standards & Compliance

Apply the Anytime Fitness Brand Manual to all layouts.
Include mandatory brand elements such as signage finishes and fixtures.
Allocate space for essential items (e.g. storage vending compliance areas).

Optimisation & Quality

Ensure layouts combine functionality and aesthetics.
Review and improve layouts to resolve flow or compliance issues.
Maintain and update a tracker of approved layouts for internal and franchisee use.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a liaison between franchisees suppliers and internal teams.
Support property and operations teams during site approvals and openings.
Provide clear communication and documentation of all layout plans
