Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established proudly South African organisation operating in a fast-paced product-based FMCG/manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong CA(SA) who is passionate about accurate reporting operational excellence and driving financial efficiency. Located in Swellendam this opportunity offers a unique work/life balance surrounded by scenic mountain landscapes and a close-knit community.

- Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards
- Manage month-end and year-end financial processes
- Handle inventory valuation and variance analysis within a product-based environment
- Design implement and monitor internal financial controls
- Ensure tax and regulatory compliance
- Prepare for and engage with External Auditors
- Drive operational efficiencies and provide mentorship to junior finance team members
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) with completed SAICA registration
- 35 years post-articles experience
- Strong IFRS knowledge and ERP system experience (SAP or similar)
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing preferred
- Skills:
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
