Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support leadership and advisors with financial due diligence and strategic decision-making.
  • Review reconcile and validate financial records statements tax filings and compliance documentation.
  • Assess existing finance processes controls and systems identify risks and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare financial analyses on working capital revenue recognition and expense trends to guide management decisions.
  • Lead monthly close reporting and budgeting activities; ensure timely and accurate reporting to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models forecasts and performance dashboards to support business planning.
  • Implement robust financial controls policies and frameworks that ensure integrity and compliance across operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations HR and Management) to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Liaise with external auditors regulators and tax authorities to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (First Class or strong 2:1 required).
  • 35 years of progressive finance or accounting experience with hands-on exposure to financial operations reporting and modeling.
  • Professional certifications such as ACA ACCA or CPA are an added advantage.
  • Exceptional analytical modeling and reporting skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks Sage or ERP).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS tax laws and financial controls.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently think strategically and communicate clearly with management.
