This is a remote position.
- Support leadership and advisors with financial due diligence and strategic decision-making.
- Review reconcile and validate financial records statements tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Assess existing finance processes controls and systems identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Prepare financial analyses on working capital revenue recognition and expense trends to guide management decisions.
- Lead monthly close reporting and budgeting activities; ensure timely and accurate reporting to leadership.
- Develop and maintain financial models forecasts and performance dashboards to support business planning.
- Implement robust financial controls policies and frameworks that ensure integrity and compliance across operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations HR and Management) to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Liaise with external auditors regulators and tax authorities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (First Class or strong 2:1 required).
- 35 years of progressive finance or accounting experience with hands-on exposure to financial operations reporting and modeling.
- Professional certifications such as ACA ACCA or CPA are an added advantage.
- Exceptional analytical modeling and reporting skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks Sage or ERP).
- Strong understanding of IFRS tax laws and financial controls.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently think strategically and communicate clearly with management.
