Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our commercial division.
Position Overview
The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with contractors architects property managers and business owners to sell commercial overhead doors operators and related products. This role involves managing the sales process from initial contact to project completion ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients contractors and construction professionals.
- Prepare bids quotes and proposals for commercial projects.
- Conduct job site visits to assess project requirements and take accurate measurements when needed.
- Collaborate with the operations and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify new business opportunities through networking referrals and local market outreach.
- Maintain accurate sales records project documentation and pipeline tracking through CRM systems.
- Stay current on product knowledge pricing and industry trends.
- Represent Overhead Door Company of Wausau professionally at trade shows networking events and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B or construction sales (preferably in overhead doors building materials or a related industry).
- Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and reading blueprints/spec sheets.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient with CRM software Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Overhead Door products or similar commercial door systems.
- Experience estimating and bidding commercial projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
