About Position / Position Summary
The Boeing Company is seeking a Development Team Manager to join Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S)s Enterprise Artificial Intelligence & Data (EAI&D) team in Bangalore IN as a Microservices and Digital Thread Development Team Manager.
This Development Team Manager will lead a team of Architects Developers Product Managers and Scrum Masters to deliver strategic new business capabilities and modernization required to secure Boeings future. Success in this role will be achieved by understanding both the needs of our business stakeholders and those of the team and driving the right strategy priority and problem-solving to deliver sustainable value.
This role requires savvy stakeholder management sharp execution and the right mindset to foster trust excitement and continuous learning in the team. This role will be accountable for finance delivery and people management and will operate in an Agile environment. This role will define and measure its success via Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate will come with experience delivering real business value using technologies not limited to Microservices Knowledge Graph Application Programming Interfaces running in containerized cloud environments. You will be supported by world-class tools and expert teams specializing in data automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to help you succeed.
This role will be based out of Bengaluru India.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages and integrates employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration application analysis and design information management architecture computing security computing project support and/or process analysis.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- A Bachelors degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
- Demonstrated 3 years experience leading software development teams as a Product Manager Product Owner or People Manager
- Demonstrated 10 years experience in a design development or implementation role solving business problems
- Demonstrated 3 years experience delivering business solutions that use Microservices and APIs for data management and movement.
- Fluency in Product Management necessities not limited to strategic planning product roadmap user experience and adoption and managing delivery in an Agile environment
- Advanced Stakeholder communication and management skills including demonstrated experience with Executive communications and liaison with business teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :
- Experience convincing stakeholders on product decisions that leverage microservices architectures & APIs to keep pace with business demand and resiliency needs
- Practical understanding of how knowledge graph / ontology technology is used to manage data and its relationships at Enterprise scale.
- 3 years experience delivering business solutions using Public Cloud (ex. AWS Azure) and/or Public Cloud certification
Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 Plus years related work experience or Masters Degree with 12 years of experience withan equivalent combination of education and experience
