The Opportunity
At Auswide Bank we are seeking someone who has experience supervising staff and preferably banking experience to join our Support Services team and play a key role in leading our Lending Services function. This role supports the Head of Support Services and is responsible for leading a team to deliver accurate timely and high-quality lending support outcomes across the Bank.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with their team supporting operational delivery and building strong collaborative relationships across the organisation.
Your Impact
- Lead and support a team within Lending Services ensuring daily workflows are managed effectively
- Provide guidance coaching and performance management to support individual and team success
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders external partners and third-party providers
- Ensure lending processes are completed accurately efficiently and in line with policy and legislative requirements
- Answer complex lending operational and customer enquiries
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Support projects and ad-hoc initiatives as required
- Step in to assist with operational tasks during peak periods including authorisations documentation loan maintenance reporting and interactions with custodians
What You Bring
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a lending or banking operations environment
- Knowledge of lending services processes policies and compliance obligations
- A collaborative organised and approachable leadership style
- Proven ability to manage workflows priorities and team performance
- Sound understanding of consumer credit and real property legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
