Minor Hotels is excited to expand our Housekeeping Department with multiple casual opportunities now available across our properties in Brisbane CBD.

About the Role

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms including making beds with precision vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively with all training and tools provided.
• Build strong professional relationships with team members guests and contractors to foster a positive respectful work environment.

Shift Details (subject to change)

• Monday to Sunday
• Flexible shifts 

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

• Monday Friday: $32.31 per hour
• Saturday: $38.78 per hour
• Sunday: $45.24 per hour

Qualifications :

Successful candidates will have:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests team members and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
