About the role:
Nalco Water an Ecolab division provides process and water treatment chemical and equipment solutions with a customer base that includes major ANZ businesses across a variety of industry sectors.
We currently have an opportunity for a hands-on Area Manager to join ourNalco Waterteam specifically looking after our Heavy Industrial / Mining / Mineral Processing clients in Western Australia. The support we provide on our customer sites includes solid-liquid separation antiscalant dewatering and other water related applications.
Based in Perth your technical and commercial activities will involve leading a dedicated team of specialists to develop strong client relationships by driving value added & focused service delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage and develop the current client base within the region leveraging our strong client relationships and driving service delivery.
Develop and strengthen your teams capability through coaching and professional development.
With your team devising a business development strategy to maximise new account opportunities for both process treatment and water treatment.
Assisting with the troubleshooting of technical problems in a timely manner to ensure ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations and water treatment facilities.
By nature you will demonstrate:
Leadership with the ability to develop your people to succeed and continue learning and developing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal & external customers
Good mechanical aptitude delivering a hands-on approach to service execution and adding value
High commitment to Safety Environment Occupational Health and Quality.
Technically you will ideally have:
Background or exposure to water/process treatment and operations experience
Excellent problem-solving aptitude and strong mechanical and technical problem-solving ability.
A drivers license
Strong business acumen and technical skills that will allow you to provide value to your customers
Excellent interpersonal skills
Accomplished communication ability
The ability to travel with overnight stays will be a prerequisite.
