Job Summary
The LAC Latin America & Caribbean Deal Team is responsible for advising designing and managing the various financial analyses for commercial proposals and advising stakeholders and decision-makers about the risks and opportunities.
The Financial Manager supports LAC leadership in development of deal modelling data optimization approval and performance tracking process for Visa for Caribbean & Central America (CarCAM) Deals. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities with current and new clients that achieve strategic and financial goals while meeting business and global process and governance requirements. This hands-on role requires strong financial and business acumen with the desire and ability to improve the effectiveness efficiency and performance of the function.
Essential Functions:
- Lead data optimization initiatives to enhance deal process efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies for LAC related to deals.
- Lead and coordinate the CarCAM Deal Finance function through its governance process ensuring alignment with business needs compliance with internal governance and strategic balance of stakeholder interests with Visas objectives.
- Collaborate with Visa Sales teams to advise develop and optimize financial proposals conduct due diligence on financial projections provide feedback for risk-adjusted returns and ensure alignment between financial and commercial proposals. Contribute to negotiation strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the CarCAM region.
- Support the LAC Deal Team by demonstrating eagerness responsiveness strong work ethic organization and teamwork. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across Visa.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in CARCAM markets
- Partner with business leaders to achieve key business and finance priorities through strategic deal-making and effective deal portfolio management.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
-Proven experience in data analysis and optimization.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
-Problem solving.
-In-depth understanding of the Caribbean business landscape.
-Experience working with CARCAM clients and partners.
-Proven ability to work and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
-Ability to foster a client-focused environment and mindset to ensure delivery of an exceptional employee experience.
-Good numerical and analytical skills knowledge of advanced excel a plus.
-Project management and coordination
-PowerPoint Excel and basic analytics
-Strong communications and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in data optimization tools and technologies.
-10 or more years of work experience with a bachelors degree in BA finance engineering accounting mathematics economics or a related quantitative field -MBA is a plus.
-Excellent modeling analytical and quantitative skills capable of identifying and modeling complex business problems with well-structured analyses and quantifiable financial impact.
-Experience with business contracts - international business contracts are a plus.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
-Proficiency with other MS Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint. Advanced skills in MS Excel including the application of pivot tables macros and formulas.
-Detail-oriented with a proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
-Experience with data reporting and report visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Business Objects Tableau) is highly desirable.
-Knowledge of programming & coding (Python Visual Basic) and development methodologies (Scrum) is a plus.
-Fluency in English and Spanish is required - Portuguese is a plus.
