Reporting to the Global Marketing Director this role offers a unique opportunity to lead product innovation streamline launches and drive strategic growth within a highly collaborative environment. The position can be based either at our Greater Manchester site in Bolton UK or near our Vaihingen site in Germany with travel expected approximately 25% of the time.
ResponsibilitiesProduct Portfolio & Roadmap Management
- Act as the gatekeeper for the Flooring product range ensuring alignment with market needs and business strategy
- Maintain and update the product roadmap packaging and labelling to improve efficiency and profitability
- Approve new product variants and actively rationalize the portfolio to optimize performance
Product Launch & Project Management
- Lead the full project management of new product introductions using our NPI framework
- Coordinate trial batches field trials and stock build for successful launches
- Develop launch packages including marketing literature technical documentation and training materials
- Align and communicate launch timelines with internal stakeholders
Documentation & Communication
- Ensure availability and accuracy of product literature (brochures systems guides TDS MSDS DoP)
- Maintain Pathfinder and Service Level Agreements
- Support website updates and ensure product information is current and relevant
Testing & Certification
- Coordinate product testing and certification needs across the EMEAI region
- Proactively identify additional testing and approvals to support sales growth
- Communicate testing status with sales and stakeholders
Thought Leadership & Training
- Develop or coordinate thought leadership content (articles webinars) to build market credibility
- Deliver and coordinate training for sales teams and technical service teams
- Support applicator training through collaboration with technical experts
Reporting
- Issue monthlyday aged stock reports to support inventory management and decision-making
Qualifications- Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience
- Proven experience in Product Management or a Technical Role within Resin Flooring systems
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of product profitability
- In-depth flooring product and application knowledge
- Ability to provide technical guidance to improve product quality and operational efficiency
- Skilled in communicating technical and operational concepts to diverse audiences
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Desirable:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Operations Management or a related field
- Understanding of advanced technical principles (e.g. lab R&D practices)
- Familiarity with industry-specific product applications and procedures
- Multilingual: English plus ideally two additional languages such as French Italian or German
