As a Administrator in our Theatre department at our Leeds Hospital youll provide knowledgeable administrative and practical support to nursing and clinical staff to standards and timescales required whilst using empathy and customers service skills to build relationships. Through great communication and IT skills. Ideally you have experience of working in healthcare administration.
As a Theatre Administrator you will;
Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required.
Handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.
Be point of contact for any visitors to Theatre department.
Deal appropriately with phone calls into the department.
Amend/changes to theatre list orders.
Update the National Joint Register.
Be a Health & Safety representative.
Scan and archive documents.
Attend and minute take the Theatre team meetings.
To succeed as a Theatre Administrator you will have;
Experience in theatre and hospital admin process
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Good IT and Key Board Skills
Good organisation and analytical skills
Experience of working in a customer facing / medical environment
Knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology
