We are seeking a proactive and people-focused People and Culture Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute across the full spectrum of People functions including talent attraction employee relations HR operations compliance and culture-building initiatives.

Youll work closely with leaders and staff to ensure a positive employee experience and contribute to a high-performing values-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

As the People and Culture Coordinator you will support the full employee lifecycle and contribute to a positive and engaging workplace culture. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including casual staff hiring onboarding and agency coordination ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

  • HR Operations: Maintain and administer People systems and data ensuring accuracy confidentiality and compliance.

  • Employee Relations & Performance: Support generalist HR functions such as performance management employee relations wellbeing initiatives and compliance with employment legislation and child safety standards.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare employment contracts variations and engage with our people on remuneration.

  • Culture & Engagement: Contribute to professional development programs recognition initiatives and culture-building activities that foster engagement and values alignment.

  • Reporting & Audits: Assist with HR reporting audits and ensure adherence to relevant Awards Agreements and child safety standards.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Payroll Finance ICT and other departments to streamline HR processes and deliver impactful projects that enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications and Expertise

The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Human Resources or a related field with experience in a progressive People and Culture environment. Strong knowledge of employment legislation excellent communication skills and an attention to detail are essential. Bring your integrity emotional intelligence and independent thinking to our team. A current Employee Working with Children Check is also required.
