Job Summary

Our client a leading agricultural organization is seeking a highly experienced Leaf Services Director to lead their crop and agronomy operations. The successful candidate will oversee the planning delivery and management of leaf production services ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction. This senior leadership role requires strong strategic oversight team management and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the business.

This role is based outside of Zimbabwe.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of strategies for efficient leaf production and supply chain management.
Oversee contracted crop production and operational processes ensuring targets and quality standards are met.
Manage relationships with growers service providers and other key stakeholders.
Ensure optimal utilization of departmental resources including personnel equipment and budgets.
Monitor and report on operational performance compliance and financial outcomes.
Implement best practices and ensure adherence to internal policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Agriculture Agribusiness or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years experience in a senior management role within agribusiness or crop production.
Strong expertise in agronomy crop management and operational leadership.
Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships and agricultural supply chains.
Track record of delivering operational and financial results.
