What you will be doing:
- Manage local and imported paper orders including coordinating shipments.
- Process paper receipts and update financial systems daily.
- Handle weekly creditor reconciliations and payments for local and foreign suppliers.
- Communicate with internal and external parties to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain daily updates of financial and inventory systems.
- Generate month-end and ad-hoc inventory reports using Excel.
- Electronically file and maintain records of transactions and reports.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal mainly in finance.
- 2-3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with imports foreign exchange and import documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel for analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational administrative and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently plan and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Understanding of accounting practices and various accounting software.
