Job Description:


Youll be the vital connection point between potential customers and local businesses directly driving revenue growth for an emerging directory platform. This ground-floor opportunity puts you at the center of business development where your appointment-setting skills will have immediate measurable impact on company success. Youll work closely with the founder to develop processes and help scale operations from startup to established business.



Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound inquiries from people wanting to schedule appointments with local businesses
  • Make outbound calls to generate appointments and qualified leads
  • Manage comprehensive follow-up communications via phone SMS and email
  • Organize and maintain appointment schedules with proactive reminder systems
  • Track leads and follow-ups using CRM systems or Excel spreadsheets
  • Handle rejection professionally while maintaining persistent positive outreach
  • Participate in training sessions and mock calls to refine techniques
  • Coordinate with founder on appointment quality and conversion optimization



Requirements

  • Previous experience in appointment setting or sales calling
  • Proven ability to handle rejection and maintain positive attitude during challenging calls
  • Strong communication skills with professional phone presence
  • Experience with CRM systems or Excel for lead tracking and management
  • Excellent time organization skills for effective follow-up scheduling
  • Comfortable with both inbound and outbound calling environments
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet professional work environment
  • Bonus if you have experience in local business or directory services
