Job Summary

What youre responsible for:

  • Work closely with shipping/inventory team to provide appropriate escalation of issues then quickly resolve issues in the most efficient manner.
  • Communicate and coordinate with maritime shipping lines freight forwarder truckers shipping yards make the appropriate booking according to the terms of sales contracts.
  • Handle bookings according to contractual shipping requirements (Incoterm packaging weight restrictions container size etc.)
  • Coordinate all aspects of shipment process including booking e-manifesting Bills of Lading and freight invoices.
  • Prepare and approve export related shipping documents confirm accuracy and perform data input.
  • Obtain the loading pictures on all shipments provide to customers upon request
  • Create B13/AES export Declaration for Canadian/US exports.
  • Save digital copy of relevant correspondence and documents.
  • Handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions overseas offices customers and transport service providers.
  • Perform other related duties as may be required.

Qualifications :

To join our team:

  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or handling FCL/LCL Ocean export.
  • You have knowledge of export regulations CAED/AES full understanding of Incoterms
  • You have the ability to work with Microsoft Outlook SharePoint Teams Word Excel.
  • You have organizational skills (prioritize plan assign and control).
  • You have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate current situation respond quickly to changing requirements and execute accordingly.
  • You have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
  • You are able to work independently while also collaborating effectively as a team player.
  • You have good verbal and writing skills: French and English
  • You have post-secondary education preferably in business transportation logistics management which is considered an asset.
