Are you a superstar administrator with a passion for people a knack for organisation and a love for a good spreadsheet Chapman Tripp one of Aotearoas premier law firms is on the lookout for a People & Culture (P&C) Administrator to join our team on a 12-month parental leave fixed term contract starting in January 2026.
About the role:
Reporting to a Senior People & Culture Advisor youll be the friendly face (and efficient engine) behind our People & Culture team supporting everything from onboarding new starters to making sure our annual wellness initiatives run smoothly. Youll work closely with our national P&C team Payroll Accounts and a host of other friendly faces across the firm.
The role will include:
- Coordinating employee arrivals and departures and related processes
- Maintaining and updating employee records and leave related requests in our HRIS systems
- Providing diary management support to the P&C Director and coordinating team meetings and events
- Processing invoices reimbursements budget coding and annual processes in collaboration with the Accounts team
- Updating P&C content on the intranet and maintaining the policy hub SOPs and templates
- Managing annual wellness initiatives across our Auckland Wellington and Christchurch offices
- Managing the P&C inbox and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting firm-wide wellbeing initiatives and recognition programmes
Skills attributes and experience you will bring:
- Excellent typing MS Office skills and general tech-savviness
- Strong planning and organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication with great relationship building skills
- Self-motivation and a collaborative nature
- Discretion and professionalism with a high service ethic
