Role: Global Supply Manager
Priority Location: Latin America
Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM (Mon - Fri) PDT
Salary Range: $2200 - $3000 USD per month (The final offer is at the clients discretion and depends on the candidates interview result skills and experience.)

Type of job: RemoteKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop assigned commodities and categories including sourcing strategies supplier selection and contract negotiations to achieve cost quality and timeline objectives.
- Establish and manage the companys supply base to support development prototyping and production activities ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Lead and represent the company in RFP/RFQ processes ensuring adherence to company procedures and selecting optimal suppliers.
- Analyze supplier proposals negotiate all aspects of quotations and drive down total cost of ownership to achieve competitive world-class pricing.
- Recommend and present sourcing strategies to leadership including plans status updates and spend decisions ensuring alignment with business objectives and program timelines.
- Foster collaboration across teams (Finance Engineering Manufacturing Quality) and organizational levels to meet program milestones and cost reduction goals.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction quality enhancement and delivery optimization.
- Refine and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies in collaboration with Xos team members and supplier stakeholders developing sourcing packages for leadership review and approval before awarding business.
- Maintain and organize data on costs targets sourcing activities and supplier performance within the companys ERP system.
- Manage overall supplier relationships including supplier performance capability development cost and quality improvements.
- Advise management on alternate global supply sources component material costs commodity pricing trends and supply/demand situations that could impact the business.
Qualifications:
Required
- BS or BA degree from an accredited 4-year college or university. ( Masters degree is a plus)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Electric Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Automotive or Industrial Procurement (Powertrain thermal electrical electronics and other direct material procurement experience strongly preferred)
- Powertrain thermal electrical electronics and other direct material procurement experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in complex communications including negotiation and issue resolution
- Strong understanding of Procurement principlesincluding strategic sourcing and legal considerations
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work independently on projects while effectively collaborating within a team.
- Strong work ethic commitment to excellence and data-driven decision-making approach.
- Experience in vendor management process and working with contract manufacturers
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite preferred
