Position:Advanced Practice Nurse (General)Nursing Services Division HKCH(For serving HA staff only) |

Pay :
HK$63338 to HK$88333 HGPS point 26 to 33A per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. | Lead and supervise a nursing team within a clinical unit. |
2. | Develop professional nursing standard care protocol and clinical pathway. |
3. | Provide complex patient care in respective clinical specialty / department stated above. |
4. | Act as a resource and referral agent on clinical expertise. |
5. | Manage nurse-led services to provide specialized patient care. |
6. | Train and supervise nurse learners in advanced nursing specialty training. |
7. | Initiate and participate in evidenced-based practice and nursing research. |
8. | Participate in the planning implementation and evaluation of the service. |
9. | Plan coordinate organize conduct and evaluate the nursing programmes / projects relating to nursing education quality & safety service operations and manpower. |
10. | Liaise and support various meetings / committees. |
11. | Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. |
Entry Requirements:
1. Holder of a valid Registered Nurse (Part I) practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
2. Qualification in advanced nursing specialty*.
3. A degree in Nursing or equivalent.
4. 5 years or more post-registration experience in healthcare of which at least 3 years is in the related specialty.
* Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty.
#Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted
Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
1. | Demonstrated competency requirements and leadership ability of an APN. |
2. | Master degree in nursing or related discipline. |
3. | Contribution to professional development including research/evidence-based practice teaching and training. |
4. | Qualification and/or experience in Manpower Planning Information Technology/ Nursing Informatics Nursing Education/Training or Nursing Quality & Safety. |
5. | With experience in project management. |
6. | Good interpersonal communication and analytical/problem-solving skills to work with hospitals and other organization. |
