Job Title: Govt Lead Generation Specialist
Shift Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM - Should be willing to work from the office.
Role Brief: The Govt Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying and sourcing opportunities through various media and government sources. The Specialist will compile assign and upload these opportunities into the CRM system. The Specialist will be the primary point of contact for 3rd party data sources and government databases.
Job Description: The roles and responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Opportunity Identification:
Utilize multiple resources including government databases official procurement portals and 3rd party websites to identify potential opportunities.
Monitor approximately 20 government bid sites used by public agencies to advertise their Bid Requests.
Pre-qualify opportunities by thoroughly reviewing the Scope of Work and ensuring alignment with our Lines of Business.
Lead Management:
Follow up on online leads and conduct additional research to identify potential prospects.
Load leads and opportunities into and assign them according to standard assignment rules.
Manage and update lead and pipeline data in Salesforce ensuring that all communications are logged and documents are attached.
Sales Support and Reporting:
Develop manage and support lead and pipeline data ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Provide reports and metrics to managers regarding opportunities loaded into the pipeline and assigned to the team.
Vendor Registration and New Opportunity Generation:
Leverage existing business relationships while continually generating new opportunities through vendor registrations.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Serve as the single point of contact for 3rd party data sources and government databases.
Coordinate with teams to ensure leads are appropriately managed and followed up.
Education Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in lead generation sales support or related roles.
Prior experience with government contract opportunities or using Salesforce is preferred.
Education:
Graduate/Postgraduate degree in any stream.
Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with various online web applications.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed daily activity and timeline goals.
Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong teamwork critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Quantitative analytical ability to assess lead data and conversion metrics.
