We are seeking an Steward Assistant Manager to join our team in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach this role you will be responsible for managing the cleanliness of kitchen areas overseeing stewarding personnel and ensuring proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Manage and supervise the stewarding team to maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen areas report directly to Steward & Hygiene Manager.
- Oversee the proper handling of chemicals and storage of chinaware cutlery kitchen utensils equipment and banquet items
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures including emergency protocols and accident reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information
- Assist in addressing guests service needs promptly and professionally
- Adhere to hotel specifications and standards for operating dishwashing machines and setting up banquet buffets
- Coordinate special cleaning projects as assigned
- Maintain the highest expectations for hygiene and sanitation in all work areas
- Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels efficiently
- Provide training and guidance to stewarding personnel
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for cleanliness and organization
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the stewarding operational
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency in inventory management and stock control
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with initiative and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different working locations
- Willingness to work long hours with a positive attitude and high energy level
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Proficiency in using relevant computer software for inventory and scheduling
