Job Description Assistant Chief Security
The Assistant Chief Security supports the Chief Security in managing and supervising all security operations to ensure the safety and security of guests employees assets and hotel premises. This role assists in implementing security policies procedures and emergency response plans while maintaining compliance with hotel standards brand guidelines and local regulations. The Assistant Chief Security also plays a key role in team supervision incident handling and preventive security measures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Security in overseeing daily security operations across the hotel premises.
Supervise and coordinate security team members to ensure effective coverage and performance.
Ensure strict implementation of security policies procedures and standard operating guidelines.
Monitor CCTV systems access control patrol activities and incident reporting.
Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents emergencies and guest concerns.
Assist in conducting investigations related to incidents losses or policy violations.
Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans including fire evacuation and crisis management procedures.
Coordinate with local authorities police and emergency services when required.
Conduct regular security briefings training and drills for the security team.
Ensure compliance with health safety and occupational security standards.
Prepare security reports logs and documentation for management review.
Act on behalf of the Chief Security during their absence as required.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Minimum 46 years of experience in hotel security or a similar environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
Strong knowledge of security operations emergency procedures and risk management.
Experience in handling investigations incident reporting and crisis situations.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Familiarity with CCTV systems access control and security technologies.
Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and public holidays.
High level of integrity discipline and professionalism.
