Sullivan Automotive is a four store dealership group in Torrington and Avon CT. Family-owned and operated we are in need of a Used Car Director to manage the used vehicle operations for multiple roof tops. As a new car dealer we sell Chevrolet GMC Cadillac; Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram and also Honda. As a result we participate in the different factory CPO programs. This is an incredible opportunity for a well-rounded knowledgeable and well organized car guy that recognizes that a strong used car department is the key to a successful new car dealership.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the acquisition reconditioning and merchandising process for all retail and wholesale used vehicles.
- Using market based data to manage these acquisitions. Candidate must be familiar with a tool similar to vAuto to help determine the strategy to efficiently manage the portfolio of used vehicles.
- Work with the retail sales team to identify opportunities to grow our retail new and used car sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of auto sales management
- New car dealership experience preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills. You will be managing a multi-million dollar portfolio of inventory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to allow for excellent communication with dealership colleagues and our retail customers.
