Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-Quality Analyst SFDC
The Lead Consultant Quality Analyst (Salesforce) plays a key leadership role in ensuring the quality reliability and performance of Salesforce implementations across multiple projects or clients. This position combines hands-on QA expertise with strategic quality leadership covering both manual and automated testing for Salesforce Clouds integrations and AI-driven workflows.
The Lead Consultant is responsible for defining testing strategies overseeing QA delivery ensuring adherence to best practices and mentoring the QA team to achieve high-quality releases aligned with business expectations.
Responsibilities
1. Quality Strategy & Planning
Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy for Salesforce programs ensuring test coverage across configuration customization and integration layers.
Collaborate with Solution Architects Business Analysts and Developers to understand business requirements data flows and system dependencies.
Prepare and review test plans test strategies and quality metrics for each release cycle.
Identify appropriate testing frameworks tools and automation approaches based on project scope and Salesforce architecture.
Estimate QA efforts and resources for multiple releases in Agile environments.
2. Test Design & Execution
Review and guide creation of detailed test scenarios test cases and test scripts for Salesforce features (Sales Service Experience Marketing etc.).
Oversee and participate in manual and automated testing efforts for Salesforce applications integrations and custom components.
Validate Apex classes triggers LWC/Aura components workflows flows validation rules and page layouts.
Test data migration API integrations (REST/SOAP) and middleware (MuleSoft Boomi Informatica) connectivity.
Ensure proper validation of reports dashboards and analytics outputs.
Review and sign off on all test deliverables before release.
3. Test Automation & Continuous Testing
Define and implement test automation strategies aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
Lead automation development using Salesforce-focused tools such as:
oProvar Selenium ACCELQ Copado Robotic Testing or Katalon Studio.
Integrate automation suites into DevOps pipelines (Jenkins GitLab Copado Azure DevOps).
Oversee creation of reusable modular automation frameworks for regression and smoke testing.
Measure automation ROI and continually optimize test coverage and execution time.
4. Defect Management & Quality Governance
Ensure effective defect management triaging and RCA (root cause analysis) for all reported issues.
Track quality metrics such as defect density defect leakage and release readiness index.
Conduct defect review meetings and coordinate with developers and functional consultants for quick resolutions.
Maintain a traceability matrix linking requirements test cases and defects.
Drive adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.
5. Data Integration & Security Testing
Lead testing of Salesforce data migrations and transformations using ETL tools or APIs.
Validate data consistency integrity and mapping across Salesforce and external systems.
Conduct integration testing across multiple touchpoints (ERP marketing AI/ML and third-party applications).
Ensure security testing of user profiles roles permission sets and record-level access.
Validate audit and compliance requirements (GDPR SOX etc.) where applicable.
6. UAT & Release Readiness
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and product owners.
Prepare UAT scripts collect user feedback and manage defect triage during UAT cycles.
Validate production deployment readiness and post-release validations.
Ensure all Salesforce deployments meet acceptance and sign-off criteria.
7. Leadership & Mentoring
Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts and Automation Engineers across multiple projects.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops on Salesforce QA best practices.
Perform peer reviews of test assets and provide constructive feedback.
Promote a quality-first culture within Agile squads and across the Salesforce program.
8. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Stay updated on Salesforce releases testing tools and automation trends.
Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and Agentic automation for intelligent test generation and predictive quality analytics.
Continuously enhance QA frameworks templates and accelerators for reuse.
Champion adoption of shift-left testing and early defect detection practices.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
BS/BE/ or equivalent
Experience
Proven experience leading QA teams in enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations (multi-cloud multi-org).
Experience in Salesforce testing or testing other Saas applications
Experience in Integration Testing in between ERP and salesforce application.
Understanding of both Waterfall and Scrum Agile methodologies
Must be able to understand and collaborate with on requirements and design
Good business analysis skills as needed for a good tester
Database experience and working knowledge of how to use SQL queries
Create and maintain a set of test data as well as to do data verification is required.
Knowledge on performance Tool JMeter/Load Runner.
Understanding of coding enterprise applications within Java PHP and other languages
Must be flexible and be able to work with changing priorities and be able to manage time with multitasking
Assertive communication skills ability to work with minimal direction able to participate and be a productive team member
Hands-on expertise in:
oSalesforce Testing (UI API Integration Data Migration)
oTest Automation Frameworks (Provar Selenium ACCELQ Copado RT)
oTest Management Tools (JIRA Zephyr TestRail QTest)
oCI/CD & DevOps integration
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture data model and security model.
Certifications (Preferred):
Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (preferred)
ISTQB / CSTE / Certified Agile Tester
Provar Automation Certification or Copado Certified Robotic Testing Professional
Any DevOps or CI/CD certification is a plus

Experience in Test Data Management (TDM) and Service Virtualization.
Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ FSL or Vlocity testing frameworks.
