POSITION SUMMARY

AnInvestmentBanking Analyst at Meridian Capital will be actively involved in the execution of M&A and financing transactions. Meridians structure gives team members the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and interact directly with clients to develop key analytical communication and sales skills. The Analyst willparticipatein all aspects of the transaction process including industry and company researchcreatingand analyzing financial models due diligence deal materials preparation and deal marketing. Candidates should be top performers who are willing to work hard in a fastmovingunstructured environment where initiative creativity maturity and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct financial analysis including building detailed financial models and performing valuation analyses
  • Prepare presentation materials pitch books and transaction-related documents
  • Managedue diligence processes and market research activities
  • Support the execution of transactions by coordinating with clients legal teams and other stakeholders
  • Monitor industry trends regulatory developments and market conditions
  • Contribute to client meetings and presentations alongside senior bankers
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients businesses and strategicobjectives
  • Identify research and analyze M&A and financingopportunities
  • Perform in-depth company and industryresearch
  • Support senior bankers and manage day-to-day execution of M&A and financingtransactions
  • Cultivate industryexpertiseto support long term business developmentinitiatives
  • Interview trainand manage junior resources (Analysts andInterns)


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA degreein Accounting Business Administration Economics or Financewith a strong academictrack record
  • Prior internship or work experience in investment banking corporate finance or related areas
  • Proficiencyin financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting corporate finance and financial modeling
  • Exceptional work ethic witha high levelof enthusiasm initiative and leadership potential
  • Excellent listening interpersonal written and verbal communication skillswith the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise presentations
  • Strong critical thinking attention to detailandproactiveproblem solvingskills
  • Highly proficient in SharePoint applications Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • FINRA Series 63 and 79


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS



Base salary range: $80000 - $105000 DOE; Total compensation (including individual and performance bonus): $80000 to $180000.
