Job Summary

Role Summary:

To plan direct implement and manage organization HSE policies ensure compliance with regulations and foster a culture of safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety program to continuously improve all employees HSE awareness and HSE performance.
  • Drive Management system for compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Provide HSE review and support for Safety environment industrial hygiene fire protection and 5S.
  • Lead investigation root cause analysis and follow-up corrective actions for safety incidents.
  • Identify and eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • To organize HSE related training programs for all employees.
  • Lead and coordinate safety committee meetings and their responsibilities.
  • Responsible for all internal and external HSE related audits and inspection.
  • Driving HSE systems across the site both regulatory and internal Flowserve requirements
  • Reviewing Flowserve policy compliance status and communicating with stakeholders for execution
  • Coordinating site facility management on new projects
  • Coordination and execution of the training programs
  • Reviewing contractor work permit and preliminary screening
  • Conducting periodic HSE self-assessments and SMA assessments
  • Review the site observation reporting
  • Suggesting Site leadership with best safety practices which promotes site maturity
  • Raising STOP work increase of HSE violations and deviations in the process.
  • Batchelor Degree or above with Regional Labour Law / ME Safety with 18-22 years working experience.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Tamil & English (Spoken & Written).

  • Familiarity with local labor laws safety regulations and manufacturing processes.
  • Preferably from Heavy fabrication/Pump/valves Manufacturing/heat exchangers/pressure vessels.
  • Vendor and contractor activities coordination
  • Previous hands-on experience in engineering industry.
  • Knowledge and hands on Microsoft applications excel PowerPoint word.
  • Knowledge in legal requirements like Factories TNPCB PESO and other site regulatory requirements
  • Internal/ Lead certification in ISO 14 K and 45 K preferred mandatory
  • NEBOSH certification is an added Advantage.
