We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented UKG Functional Consultant to support the design configuration and optimization of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) HCM Payroll and/or Time & Attendance modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR and payroll processes experience implementing or supporting UKG Pro UKG Dimensions or UKG Ready and the ability to bridge business needs with system functionality.
This role focuses on providing functional expertise configuring the system gathering business requirements supporting integrations and ensuring efficient and compliant HR and payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with HR Payroll and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into UKG functional configurations and workflows.
Configure and maintain UKG HCM modules (e.g. Core HR Payroll Time & Attendance Benefits Recruiting Onboarding).
Perform system testing data validation and issue resolution for UKG changes enhancements and new implementations.
Support system upgrades patches and releases ensuring functionality aligns with business processes.
Create and maintain documentation for configurations workflows and business processes.
Collaborate with UKG support and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Train end users and provide post-implementation support.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices leveraging UKG capabilities.
Requirements
Required:
3 years of hands-on experience in a UKG functional role (UKG Pro / Dimensions / Ready).
Strong understanding of HR Payroll and Timekeeping processes.
Experience in system configuration testing and user support.
Ability to analyze data and business processes to identify and implement system improvements.
Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
Experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro) or UKG Dimensions.
Familiarity with system integrations between UKG and third-party vendors (Benefits Payroll or ATS).
Background in HRIS or HR Technology project delivery.
UKG certification(s) a plus.
