The Role: Housing Specialist II/III
Youll be the go-to pro for processing applications verifying participant status preparing documents and keeping everything HUD-compliant. If you know your way around eligibility leasing re-certifications portability rent adjustments and terminationsand love keeping data accurate and organizedyoull fit right in. Experience with Project-Based Voucher (PBV) or Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) programs is a big plus.
What Youll Do
Review applications verifications and documents for accuracy.
Determine program eligibility and maintain up-to-date participant files.
Provide top-notch customer service to participants owners applicants and the public.
Enter and maintain data accurately in program systems.
Coordinate with supervisors managers inspectors and other team members.
Handle all personally identifiable information (PII) with strict confidentiality.
Ensure all work complies with HUD regulations and nondiscrimination policies.
What Were Looking For
Housing Choice Voucher Specialist certification required.
Experience with PBV or HCV programs highly preferred.
34 years in customer-facing roles housing or similar environments.
Strong analytical organizational and data management skills.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Solid computer skills.
Physical & Work Environment
Typical office environment; occasional standing walking or lifting up to 50 lbs.
Frequent computer work talking and hearing required.
