Position Summary:

Position: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Type: Full Time

Location: Head Office - Fort McKay Alberta

Schedule: 40 Hours per week. Monday to Thursday (Alternating Friday off)

**This is a LOCAL position. Applicant must reside in the Fort McMurray Region or be willing to relocate at their own cost**

Compensation Details:

  • Vacation pay at 6% - paid out bi-weekly upon start date

Role Summary:

Bouchier is looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help us connect our teams elevate our brand and support internal and external platforms across the organization. This role reports to our Senior Marketing Manager and plays a key part in ensuring team members are informed engaged and aligned through effective communication strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal communications to keep team members informed engaged and aligned with company goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with teams across People & Culture HSE and operational teams to support performance and culture.
  • Support planning and execution of internal events town halls and team engagement activities.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Support the development and maintenance of marketing and communication materials including corporate brochures presentations and other visual materials.
  • Support the management of internal communication platforms including digital signage and intranet.
  • Manage content calendars and contribute ideas that align with corporate strategy and priorities.
  • Write and produce engaging content for internal and external media platforms.
  • Champion Bouchiers intranet as a hub for news resources and team member engagement.
  • Provide analytics and insights to improve communication effectiveness through the company and intranet.
  • Collaborate across departments to support campaigns special projects and multimedia communications.
  • Support community investment initiatives sponsorships and events (some evening/weekend work will be required).


Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or degreein Communications Marketing Journalism Public Relations English or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a communications role withina business environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong writing editing and storytelling skills across digital and traditional media.
  • Experience with graphic design social media and multimedia content creation
  • Photography and/or videography experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and/or Photoshop is an asset.
  • All applicants must have the ability to speak read and write fluently in English
