About the Role
Were seeking a Business Development Executive who thrives on building relationships and creating partnerships that make a difference.
In this role youll be responsible for developing sponsorships advertising sales and strategic partnerships that support our mission and keep our message of hope on air.
Youll work with local businesses churches and community organisations to craft creative media solutions that connect with our loyal audience while aligning with our Christian values.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sponsorship advertising and partnership opportunities.
Achieve agreed revenue and client growth targets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and presentations.
Collaborate with our creative and production teams to ensure high-quality campaign delivery.
Maintain accurate client records and sales pipeline in our CRM system.
Represent PositiveMedia Ltd at community events outside broadcasts and business networking functions.
Contribute ideas for station growth marketing initiatives and audience engagement.
About You
Youre someone who loves connecting with people and discovering how media can help businesses and organisations grow while also advancing a bigger mission.
Youll bring:
Proven experience in business development sales or account management (media or advertising preferred).
Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
A goal-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
A proactive self-motivated and positive attitude.
A heart that aligns with Christian values and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Desirable
Experience in media sales (radio print or digital).
Familiarity with CRM systems and campaign management tools.
Understanding of the not-for-profit or community broadcasting sector.
Knowledge of Melbournes Christian and business networks.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Business Marketing Communications or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
