The Production Control Specialist will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of production factories or programs. This individual will manage multiple parts and the associated tasks listed below are necessary in order to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or programs cost and schedule requirements.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements
• Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress material availability and potential production and / or Depot problems
• Solve any potential production and / or Depot problems to ensure that personnel equipment materials and services are provided as needed
• Control and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity Bills of Material in an MRP system
• Confirm material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements
• Summarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items that will be or are released to the factory floor
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance manufacturing purchasing and engineering
• Proposing solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders
• Interface with internal customers
• Participates in projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement
• This position is an onsite role in our Tucson AZ facility.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience within Supply Chain Production and/or Production scheduling.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems
• Experience with Government and Depot type processes
• Experience with MS Excel to include formula application and pivot tables. Experience working with MS Office 365 applications.

    The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
