Interventional Cardiology Opening with The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and The Zablocki VA Medical Center (ZVAMC)

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is recruiting an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a thriving interventional program at Froedtert Health/MCW and the Zablocki VA Medical Center (ZVAMC) in Milwaukee WI.

Our academic practice has over 60 cardiologists and has state of the art equipment and new facilities. The comprehensive FMCW cardiac program includes a full complement of complex coronary and structural interventions (TAVR MitraClip transcatheter valve-in-valve implantation paravalvular leak closure valvuloplasty LAA occlusion percutaneous ASD/PFO closure etc) and is participating in important clinical trials in the mitral tricuspid and aortic valve space.

The ideal candidate will be an interventional cardiologist experienced in complex coronary interventions. Areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to a combination of teaching patient care and research.

Position Requirements:

  • Well-rounded and collaborative Interventional Cardiologist
  • Expertise in complex and high-risk interventional procedures
  • Experience in structural procedures isnt necessary but ideal
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
