Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technician will perform ultrasound procedures working a 5x8 day shift from Monday to Friday. The role involves on-call responsibilities one night a week and requires proficiency in various ultrasound skills and knowledge of isolation precautions.

Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures on adult ER ICU obstetrics and pediatric patients.
- Utilize equipment such as PACS and Siemens ultrasound machines.
- Demonstrate skills in abdominal aorta appendix breast gallbladder liver pancreas pediatric abdomen/pelvis and spleen ultrasounds.
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasounds including 1st 2nd and 3rd trimester scans and fetal anatomical surveys.
- Conduct neonatal ultrasounds of the abdomen/pelvis/renal/bladder bone lengths cerebellum ventricles gender head heart and spine.
- Perform renal/pelvis ultrasounds including bladder hernia ovaries prostate renal/bladder uterus and vaginal scans.
- Conduct small parts ultrasounds of the breast superficial masses testicles/scrotum and thyroid.
- Perform vascular ultrasounds of the aorta carotid color flow Doppler studies duplex lower and upper extremity arterial and venous systems and renal artery duplex.
- Maintain knowledge and experience with isolation precautions.
- Charting in Cerner.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARDMS certification
- State license
- No minimum experience required; first-timers accepted
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in adult ER ICU obstetrics and pediatrics settings.
- Experience with PACS and Siemens equipment.
- Proficient in abdominal aorta appendix breast gallbladder liver pancreas pediatric abdomen/pelvis and spleen ultrasounds.
- Proficient in OB/GYN ultrasounds (1st 2nd 3rd trimester fetal anatomical survey).
- Proficient in neonatal ultrasounds (abdomen/pelvis/renal/bladder bone lengths cerebellum ventricles gender head heart spine).
- Proficient in renal/pelvis ultrasounds (bladder hernia ovaries prostate renal/bladder uterus vaginal).

Special Considerations:
- On-call hours required one night (Mon-Thurs) a week from 2:00am-6:00am.
- Clinician will not float outside of scope.
- RTO restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
