Reporting to the Practice Manager this position is the first clinical point of contact for SAMP patients and create the first impression of the medical office and works under the direct clinical supervision and authority of the physician when performing clinical tasks during patient care and reports to the office coordinator/shift supervisor on administrative/operational issues. The Back Office Medical Assistant is an expert at providing excellent customer/patient services via phone and in person. The employee will work collaboratively with all service staff in support of direct patient services exhibiting flexibility and embodying a can do attitude. The position exemplifies the core values and mission of the organization always exercising utmost discretion diplomacy and tact in patient/staff interactions.
