HK$24875 $29305 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Nurse-in-charge the Clinical Assistant Coordinator will perform the following key roles and responsibilities:
1.
Perform blood taking ECG IV cannulation and other assigned investigations;
2.
Enhance communication between team members ward users and managers;
3.
Assist in supervising the operation of phlebotomy service:
  • Assist in coordinating the teams work and the assignment of tasks amongst team members to ensure the service is performed efficiently and effectively
  • Assist in duty roster arrangement and relieving duty arrangement amongst team members;
4.
Monitor the proper functioning of the ADS and SRS systems;
5.
Assist nurse in-charge in coaching of team members in phlebotomy service;
6.
Handle daily operation of the unit /center:
  • Assist nurse in-charge to handle complaints
  • Monitor the proper functioning of the ADS and SRS systems
  • Prepare services reports operation reports etc;
7.
Assist in record keeping;
8.
Perform all tasks of the functional team (including blood culture) when required;
9.
Work shifts or perform on-call duties when required;
10.
As urgent relief for team members when required;
11.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Entry Requirements:
1.
Completed F.5/ S.5 or equivalent with at least 3 years experience in phlebotomy service; OR
Completed F.3/ S.3 or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in phlebotomy service;
2.
Completed Corporate Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training Program organized by HAHO including Phlebotomy ECG and IV cannulation training;
3.
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
4.
Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1.
Knowledge and skills in computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word.
