About you and this position

Reporting to the Team Leader Communications you will assist in the planning and delivery of engaging communications activities that enhance Councils image and strengthen our connection with the this role youll use clear consistent and proactive messaging to promote Councils profile programs services and initiatives across Councils websites social media channels and publications.

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • Experience in the management and administration of corporate social media channels.
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising and campaign management.
  • Experience with corporate website administration and maintenance.
  • Experience writing formatting and sending e-newsletters using Mailchimp or similar.
  • Experience in customer service provision.
  • Diploma or higher in a communications or marketing discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

This position is available on a part-time basis for 3 days per week for a 2-year fixed-term period and is classified as a Grade 4 under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise Agreement No 11 2024 and the relevant Award.

The preferred candidate will need to undertake a pre-employment medical and submit a police clearance (funded by Council).
