Position Summary:
As an Operations Manager for Pyle you will be assisting in daily terminal operations involving P&D Dock Line Haul Office Recruiting and OS&D Department.
The responsibilities of the position include butarenot limited to:
- Ensuring the management of staff is consistent with Company goals and guidelines
- Developing and maintaining cross-training materials performance reviews and ensuring the development of supervisors
- Monitoring terminal operation statistics and encouraging improvement; fostering a spirit of innovative thinking in attaining goals
- Ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout terminal
- Developing maintaining and improving current processes to ensure security of freight and personnel while promoting and demonstrating Pyle Culture
To be qualified for this position you must possess the following:
- Previous LTL Transportation experience
- Previous Management experience
- Ability to work all shifts as required
- Computer skills to include MS Office
- Ability to Lead Teach and Mentor staff while enforcing Company Policies
- Effective communication skills
