JOB PURPOSE
Provides domestic and international field service support for maintenance troubleshooting and repair of Rolls-Royce 250 and 300 series turbine engines. This role also supports other PAG Engine facilities as operational needs require.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform inspection troubleshooting adjustment and repair of Rolls-Royce 250 and 300 series engines on customer aircraft following applicable manufacturers instructions and FAA regulations.
- Execute duties with professionalism ensuring all service conforms to manufacturer specifications FAA requirements and customer expectations.
- Perform airworthiness determinations and complete required return-to-service documentation for work performed within the Repair Stations ratings and capabilities.
- Read and interpret aircraft diagrams charts and schematics.
- Ensure all maintenance actions are performed in accordance with PAG policies FAA regulations and safety standards.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective communication with customers brokers agents and other stakeholders to enhance opportunities for new and ongoing business.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Participate in and support safety initiatives safe work practices and compliance.
- Engage in safety activities including reporting hazards unsafe work practices and accidents/injuries immediately.
- Adhere to all safety rules FAA regulations PPE compliance and equipment operation requirements.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- This position involves extensive travel and hands-on field maintenance. The employee will be required to stand walk bend climb and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Work is performed both indoors (in customer hangars or maintenance facilities) and outdoors often in adverse weather conditions including heat cold wind and precipitation. The role may also involve working in confined spaces on elevated platforms and around operating aircraft engines.
Equipment Operated: Ability to operate hand tooling.
Work Location: This position is not based at a specific PAG facility. The technician will travel as required to support customers and provide on-call field and sales support assisting with customer visits technical consultations and on-site evaluations to help identify service opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses hearing protection rubber gloves liquid-proof apron and other items as required.
Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent with technical Airframe/Powerplant training obtained through trade school or military aircraft maintenance program.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of aviation maintenance experience preferably on Rolls-Royce 250 and/or 300 series turbine engines.
Certificates/Licenses: FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate required; valid passport preferred.
