The Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin is a tri-county non-profit organization serving the counties of Dane Jefferson and Waukesha that works in a coordinated and comprehensive manner to develop and implement community-driven programs and services that will make a critical difference in the lives of low-income families and individuals that will advance the revitalization of low-income communities and that will ultimately provide empowerment of low-income families and individuals in rural and urban areas.
The Director of Nutrition and Health is responsible to ensure the effective operation of nutrition and health initiatives including mental health programming the Foodshed Partnership TEFAP/CSFP and all community feeding programs and leads the development and submission of applications for new programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the development implementation and evaluation of nutrition and health programs including mental health initiatives the Foodshed Partnership TEFAP/CSFP and other feeding programs to ensure efficiency effectiveness and responsiveness to community needs.
- Maintaining and updating internal policies procedures and program materials to ensure alignment with organizational standards and best practices in nutrition food access and health.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable contractual regulatory and reporting requirements related to TEFAP CSFP mental health programming and other nutrition and health funding streams and contracts.
