Director Emergency Services Location: Las Cruces NM
Job Type: Full-Time Exempt
Salary: $125000 $150000 per year
Eligibility: Only U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders
Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Emergency Room Director to lead the operations of a high-performing Emergency Department in Las Cruces New Mexico. This leadership role provides the opportunity to manage emergency care delivery enhance departmental performance and foster clinical excellence.
The position offers a competitive salary relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus for the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide strategic and operational leadership for daily emergency department functions.

Oversee staffing recruitment training and professional development of ER personnel.

Ensure delivery of safe high-quality and patient-centered care.

Develop and implement departmental policies procedures and best practices in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Maintain compliance with local state and federal healthcare regulations.

Collaborate with executive leadership to align departmental goals with overall hospital objectives.

Manage departmental budgets control costs and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Lead quality improvement initiatives and risk management strategies to elevate patient outcomes.
Qualifications -
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree (MSN MHA MBA) strongly preferred.

Current RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).

Minimum 7 years of healthcare experience including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Prior experience in a for-profit hospital environment is highly preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in emergency department operations staff management and fiscal oversight.

Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
Required Certifications -
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
