About the Role

You will join a dynamic multilingualenvironment (English/French/Portuguese) collaborating with global teams toenhance engineering governance guide technical design and drive the adoption ofmodern tools frameworks and architectures across the organization.

This role supports innovation technologyassessments and continuous improvement of the engineering ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Support studies on programming languages anddeveloper frameworks across the stack

Ensure application teams comply with CIBTechnology Standards

Contribute to and review technicalspecifications and architecture designs

Assess and manage technical risks

Conduct technology research & domain studies

Validate and recommend technologies and softwaresolutions

Participate in Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) andemerging technology evaluations

Promote engineering excellence and modernpractices across teams

Contribute to the enhancement of DevSecOps toolchains

Drive efficiency and adoption of innovativesolutions

Required Technical Skills

Proven expertise as a Technology/Engineering Architect

Hands-on experience with multiple programminglanguages

Strong knowledge of architecture patterns &modern engineering principles

Experience building and deploying complexproduction systems

Solid understanding of Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/KaaS)environments

Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CDpractices

Experience with various architecture styles:
o MonolithicN-Tier SOA Microservices

o Cloud-based& virtualized environments

Strong understanding of containerization &orchestration

Familiarity with middleware components:

o WAFLoad Balancers VIPs MQ Event Brokers API Gateways

Strong knowledge of IT Security principles(encryption authentication/authorization vulnerability management threatanalysis)

Analytical and synthesis capabilities toevaluate architecture compliance and present findings to leadership

Financial services experience is a plus

Additional Information

Hybrid working model: 2 days/week onsite in Lisbon
