Department / Hospital / Cluster: Procurement and Materials Management Department Hong Kong East Cluster
Pay: HK$39485 to HK$50373 (HGPS Point 16 to 21) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work under the direction of the Cluster Manager (Procurement and Materials Management) and respective Team Head in the areas of procurement of goods and services inventory management or equipment management.
2. Carry out procurement and materials management activities in accordance with the prevailing regulations administrative directions and plans.
3. Liaise with relevant stakeholders in the supply chain to ensure the right goods and services are delivered efficiently.
4. Assist in generating management reports and provide clerical support to his/her supervisors for analysis and management review to meet day-to-day operation need.
5. Supervise junior staff and monitor day-to-day operation of team(s).
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Entry Requirements

1. (a) (i) 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) Chinese Language and Mathematics at Grade E in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent.
OR
(ii) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
-Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ Attained in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects;
or equivalent.
OR
(b) A former Hong Kong Polytechnic Certificate of Proficiency in Stores Supervision or equivalent.
OR
(c) A former Hong Kong Polytechnic Advanced Certificate in Storekeeping.
OR
(d) Grade E in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination English Language (Syllabus B) or Level 2 in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education English Language or equivalent plus a former Hong Kong Technical College Supply Officers Ordinary Course Certificate.
2. At least 8 years experience in Supplies work relating to storekeeping supervising staff and / or purchasing.

Preferred Attributes

of a certificate in Logistics/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or related discipline is an advantage.

3. Knowledge of HAs corporate systems and processes related to procurement and materials management.
4. Self-motivated good interpersonal and communication skills pleasant and mature personality.
5. Able to work independently and under pressure.
